We just arrived back in Texas from our vacation. I wanted to express my gratitude to you and your family and friends for the wonderful week we shared with you on the lake. I can only sum up our vacation in one word PERFECT! The view was amazing. If anyone is considering this place to stay while in Cooperstown don’t waste your time looking anywhere else stop here! My family was able to get in some great bonding time fishing, and swimming in the lake. We were fortunate enough to be there on a week where the weather was beautiful each day, we enjoyed fireworks on the 4th of July while sitting around a campfire and even roasted marshmallows. My husband was able to get some much needed bonding time in with our sons.

“The Sleeping Lion is a family and fishing friendly Cooperstown Dream Park retreat. It’s close enough to CDP, but far enough away to feel like a true vacation destination. My parents stayed with us and Greg Noonan was an amazing host to us all. He was full of local insight which was much appreciated. We rented a pontoon at a nearby marina for the day before CDP check-in and the day after we were eliminated from the tournament. We caught some of the biggest largemouth and smallmouth bass I have ever seen. Lake Ostego provides a beautiful and scenic backdrop with eagles flying about. This property is a great value for access to the lake and proximity to town.”
